PERBEDAAN STATUS GIZI PADA BAYI 6 BULAN BERDASARKAN PEMBERIAN ASI DI POLINDES TELUK SASAH KABUPATEN BINTAN PROPINSI KEPULAUAN RIAU TAHUN 2012 Endah Hapsari, Wahyu Ratna, Yustiana Olfah ABSTRACT The granting of exclusive breast feeding (EBF) in infants is one of government programs that are contained in the RAN-PG 2011-2015 in improving the nutritional status of infants and toddlers in Indonesia. EBF without other groceries can suffice the needs of growth around six months of age. Growing the baby and the toddlers mostly determined by the amount of breastfed obtained, including energy and nutrition other substance that is contained within the breast-fed. The low public awareness in the provision of breast-fed impact on growth and the development of the quality of its human resources in general. Knowing the difference nutrition status of baby 6 months based on granting breast-fed in Polindes Teluk Sasah Bintan district Riau Islands province.Research with the use of methods quantitative approach kohort retrospective study. Samples in research these are data baby six months 2011 which totaled 110 data a baby in Polindes Teluk Sasah Bintan District Province Riau Islands in accordance with criteria inclusion and exclusion. Data analysis conducted by analysis chi square with 95 % level of trust.The amount of data farel six months in Polindes Teluk Sasah District Brittle Province Riau Islands mostly found no granting exclusive breast-fed about 62 (56,4%). Nutrition status in infants six months in Polindes Teluk Sasah Bintan District Province Riau Islands having mostly nutrition status with criteria normal 96 ( 87,3 %). Infant given breast-fed exclusively with satus nutrition normal infant 91,7 % and babies given breast-fed not exclusively with satus nutrition normal infant 83,9 %. The result analysis test chi square count as much as 1,838 ( p > 0.05 ). There is no difference nutrition status on the baby 6 months based on granting breast-fed in Polindes Teluk Sasah Bintan District Riau Islands Province. Kata Kunci : Status gizi, pemberian ASI
