Smoking is a risky behavior that adolescents do and has a high prevalence. School in the first middle level is a place where children get education and a place to socialize, so that schools are expected to reduce the number of teenage smokers. Each school has a school health unit program (UKS) and has an indicator of not smoking in school so that in hopes of being able to be a means of lowering the number of teenage smokers. The purpose of this study is to know the level of knowledge on the effects of smoking as well as the attitude and behaviour of male students about smoking at SMPN 1 Berbah Sleman Yogyakarta in 2019. The type of research conducted was descriptive with the instrument questionnaire and the check list was conducted in May 2019 with respondents consisting of male students of class VII and VIII. The results showed that high level of knowledge (> mean) of a number of 80 students and who gained a low knowledge value (< mean) of 46 students. Students who have a good attitude (> mean) number of 64 students and who are Have a poor attitude value of 62 students. Then the student who got the value of good practice (> mean) A number of 75 students and who got the practice value of less good number of 51 students.
