Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Sukunan treats domestic wastewater that was produced from household activities. The WWTP has stood since 2008. After eleven years, the growth and development of population has increased so increase the load of the WWTP. In connection with the increasingly heavy load of evaluation should be conducted to determine the performance. This study used typed of descriptive with WWTP as object. This study aims to analyze the performance of Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Communal in Sukunan. Communal WWTP in Sukunan has two systems are Rotating Biological Contactor in RT 08 and Contact Aeration in RT 09. The purpose of this research to test the parameters of TSS, pH, and BOD. From the water sample inlet and outlet of the WWTP and compares with the quality standards Special District of Yogyakarta Regional Regulation Number 7 In 2016, in order to know the effectiveness of the Communal WWTP. Based on the test of RBC system parameters obtained reduction BOD parameters was 84,1%; reduction TSS parameters was 65,86%; and reduction of pH parameters becomes 6,9. While in contact aeration system obtained reduction BOD parameters was 88,61%; reduction TSS parameters was 67,86%; and reduction of pH parameters becomes 6,2. Overall WWTP performance is still good. However, there are some performance parameters that are not accordance with the quality standard From laboratory test on waste water sample inlet and outlet of the WWTP in Sukunan village found that BOD value did not match with the quality standart. Parameters TSS and pH value did match with the quality standart.
