Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease transmitted by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. This case was a big problem when rain season comes. One of the prevention efforts that can be done to avoid the disease is kill the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Mosquito control can be done by using insecticide. Indonesia has many plants that contained insecticide substance, one of them was chrysan flower (Chrysanthemum sp) more than 2400 species included 235 famillia known containing pesticide. There are some natural materials as pesticide i.e piretrin, jasmolin and cinerin. The purpose of this experiment is to know the efectivity of chrysans extract in waste cooking oil candle to kill the Aedes aegypti mosquito. research method using the experimental study with Post Test Only- With Control Group design. The object of this experiment are candles that mixing with chrysans extract (Chrysanthemum sp) in 0 ml, 2 ml, 3 ml 4 ml. The result showed that the effective level to kill mosquitoes are 4 ml.
