Background: Caesarean section is a surgical technique to give birth to the fetus
through an incision on the abdominal wall and the uterus. Cesarean section
certainly can not be separated from the action of anesthesia. Spinal anesthesia is
the best anesthetic technique for cesarean section, and spinal anesthesia also has
flaws. Spinal anesthesia techniques have deficiencies such as air bradycardia,
apnoe, inadequate breathing, nausea / vomiting, post-lumbar puncture headache,
high spinal block or total spinal, hypotension. Hypotension is one cause of nausea
vomiting in spinal anesthesia.
Objective: Knowledge of MAP relationship with PONV incidence in cesarean
section patients with spinal anesthesia in RSUD Sleman Yogyakarta.
Method: This type of research is an observational analytic research using
quantitative method using cross sectional research design. The sample of this
study amounted to 48 respondents. Sampling with consequtive sampling. The data
collection tool used in this research is an observation sheet containing blood
pressure and postoperative nausea vomiting. The test used is spearman rank test.
Result: Result of research that is hypotensi 13 responden (27,1%), incidence
PONV 17 respondent (35,4%). From statistical test with sperman rank test found
significant relation that is p Value 0,004 (p <0,05), with medium tightness that is
0,405.
Conclusion: There is a MAP relationship with PONV incidence in cesarean
section patients with spinal anesthesia in RSUD Sleman Yogyakarta.
