Background : Post anesthetic complications cause pain that can inhibit the mobilization of patients and become one of the reasons patients wont move. According to health law number 36 of 2009 chapter III, that each person got information about his/her health data from paramedic. Information about early mobilization is done with pre-operative health promotion so that patients are able to mobilize early post anesthesia Objective : To know the effect of health counseling about early mobilization in patients post spinal anesthesia in RSUD Kota Yogyakarta Methode : This research is a quasy experiment. The sample of this study amounted to 40 respondents who each group there are 20 respondents. The treatment group carried out by verbal counseling, demonstration, and leaflet and control group was given a leaflet. Sampling with random sampling. The test used is Chi-Square test. Result : Respondent of treatment group had more early mobiization in good category there were 15 respondents (37.5%), while the respondents of control group there were 8 respondents (20.0%) in good category. The results of data analysis using Chi Square ρ = 0,025 (ρ <0,05). Conclusion : There is a effect of counseling about early mobilization in patients post spinal anesthesia in RSUD Kota Yogyakarta
