Neglecting children is when a parents or care taker can not fill the need of child. It will created bad impact for the children it self, such as growth and development disorders, emotional disorders and etc. Parents should be knowledgible to take care of their children. The purpose of the study is to know how parents aware of neglecting their children in pre-school age. This study is descriptive research survey in the 2017 year. The total subject of this study is parents who have children with pre-school age in the Ngropoh Condongcatur amount 56 people. Purposive Sampling with questinnaire instrument was used during this research. For the analysis we used frequency distribution and presented by table. The research result showed parents knowledge about neglect in children pre-school age in the sufficient category (41.07%), the sense of neglect good category (71.43%), type of neglect less category (44.64%), cause of neglect suffucient category (35.71%), impact of neglect good category (62.50%), and prevention of neglect good category (73.21%). Based on the result of the research, it can be conclude that the parents awareness about neglecting children in pre-school age in the Ngropoh hamlet Condongcatur is sufficient, so parents are expected more active to seek information about neglect in pre-school age.
