Background: Low back pain can affect anyone, include hospital workers. One of the jobs at risk for lower back pain are nurses. Workload on nurses often results in low back pain complaint.
Objective: Knew the correlation between workload of operating room nurse and low back pain cases among nurse of operating room in RSUD Kota Yogyakarta.
Methods: This research is a non-experimental quantitative research. The research design used descriptive correlation with cross sectional. Sample taken by total sampling with 16 respondents. Hypothesis test using chi square test.
Results: There is a relation between workload of nurse of operating room and low back pain incident among operating room nurses. It is known that the significance value of 0.038 then the hypothesis is accepted.
Conclusion: There is a correlation between the nurse of operating room workload and the low back pain events.
