Background : Tofu Liquid Waste, if it is not recycled or used in the large amount, it will pollute and endanger the environmental conservation. Based on the pre-test on the tofu waste, there are Nitrogen content (N) as much as 5,756 mg /L, Phospor (P) as much as 21,959mg/L and Kalium (K) as much as 631mg/L Research Objective : To know whether tofu liquid waste can be used as liquid organic fertilizer. The Research Method : it is an experimental research with the design of pre test – post test with control group design with tofu liquid waste sample as much as 30 liters. The sampling is done by grab sampling. The research Location is in Jlegongan, Margorejo, Tempel, Sleman. Tofu Liquid waste which is added with EM4 and molase is wated for 14 days as the experimental group or post test and liquid fertilizer – brand “X” as the control. In the beginning of the research, the NPK content in the tofu liquid waste is measured as the pre test. Result : The use of tofu liquid waste as the liquid organic fertilizer in the experimental group, the amount of N is 0,749 %, P = o,386 %, and K = 2,95 %, Based on the connected t – test and free t – test, If shows that there is a significant difference between the amount of NPK pre test and post test from the experimental and control group which is in the level of P = 0,000 Conclusion : The addition of EM4 and molase increases the substances of fertilizer on the tofu liquid waste but the content of N and P on the liquid organic fertilizer from the tofu liquid waste haven’t fulfilled the standard, meanwhile the content of K has fulfilled the standard.
