The population of Sleman Regency in 2019 is 1,206,714 which will generate of 603,357 tons/day of residential waste. If it is not processed properly will cause problems. Based on Indonesia Act no. 18 of 2008, a TPS 3R was established to manage household waste. Over time there will be problems at the TPS 3R if no evaluation is conducted. It is necessary to map aspects of TPS 3R data to determine the reduction of waste that can be done by each location.
The purpose of this study was to determine the location distribution map, the effectiveness of TPS 3R based on the number of customers, the effectiveness of TPS 3R on waste reduction, and the range of TPS 3R services.
The method used in this study used secondary data from related agencies and spatial analysis that carried out using the ArcGis 10.2 application.
The results of this study indicate that there are 20 TPS 3R units in Sleman Regency which have good effectiveness at 50%, medium effectiveness at 40%, and effectiveness at less than 10%. The better the effectiveness of the TPS 3R the greater the number of customers in the TPS 3R. The better the effectiveness of the TPS 3R the higher the absorptive capacity of the waste that the TPS 3R can manage. The top and bottom areas of Sleman need to add TPS 3R buildings because of TPS 3R in the location is still limited.
Thus the TPS 3R is able to absorb waste very well so that the TPS 3R can reduce waste problems in Sleman Regency.
