Background: Puskesmas is a technical implementing unit responsible for organizing health development in a region. Puskesmas activities can have positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is increasing the degree of public health, while the negative impact is the agent of the disease brought by the patient from outside to the health center or a career visitor. The cause of the disease may be on the floor, air, medical and non medical equipment. It requires special handling, one of them with disinfection. Slaughter using disinfectant is an attempt to clean floors by chemical means to reduce and eliminate pathogenic microorganisms In addition to chemicals there are also natural materials that can be used for disinfecting with kunyitputih. Research Objective: Lowering the number of germs by using white turmeric extract Research Method: This research type is experiment. The research design used is One Group Pretest Posttest. This research was conducted in January 2018. The population of this research is all the floor of the room at Wonosari I Public Health Center. The sample in this research is the floor in the laboratory room, which is repeated every 9 floors with different concentration. Data analysis using one wayAnava and t-test bound. Results: Different test results using One Way Anova test is p value = 0,531 with α <0,05. It can be interpreted that there is no difference between giving kunyitputih with concentration of 10%, 20% and 30% in decreasing germ floor number, which means that there is no difference with the use of kunyitputih extract with that concentration because all of them can both decrease germ rate. To determine the difference of the number of germs before and after is with t-test tied at concentration 10% test result showed p value = 0.000, at concentration 20% test result showed p value = 0.000, at concentration 30% test result showed p value = 0.006, meaning that the three concentrations there is a difference between before and after giving kunyitputih. Conclusion: There are differences in the number of germs before and after the use of kunyitputih extract concentration of 10%, 20%, 30%. Keywords: kunyitputih extract, bacteria number, floor
