Thepublic interest in applyingdental orthodontic treatment fortheir misaligned teeth (malocclusion) is increasing. The results of the preliminary study showed that 60% of orthodontic users had poor oral and dental hygiene due to
their disobedience onthe routine visits. Disobedience in routine visits is caused by lack of knowledge. Knowledge greatly influences a person’s behavior.Knowledge-based behaviors will be more lasting than the ones that are not

75.7%, and the visit disobedience was 24.4%. The result of the Kendall’s Tau C.correlation test was 0.002, hence there was a relationship between the knowledge level of orthodontics and the visit obedience of patients with fixed orthodontic. The correlation value was 0.456 with moderate relationship strength and positive relationship direction.
