Background : Prostate cancer is the number 3 killer among men. Prostate cancer that has been suffered by men aged over 40 years and is most often detected when prostate cancer enters an advanced stage, this cancer can also cause several complications if it has experienced expansion and metastasis. There are 39 patients with prostate cancer where this number can be calculated from the number of patients in Bougenville 3, dr. Sardjito for a period of one year (April 2021-2022).
Objective: His surrounding support of Mr. S with Ca Prostate in Bougenville 3 RSUP dr. Sardjito fits the relevant diagnosis.
Method: The method used is a case study on Mr. S with Ca Prostate in Bougenville 3 RSUP dr. Sardjito was held from May 10, 2022 to May 14, 2022. The techniques used were interviews, observation, physical examination, and document studies.
Results: The diagnosis that emerged was activity intolerance associated with weakness, chronic pain associated with tumor infiltration, urine retention associated with increased urethral pressure, anxiety associated with unmet needs, impaired physical mobility associated with structural integrity damage or pain, and the risk of falling. The interventions that have been carried out was energy management, pain management, urinary retention treatment, anxiety reduction, mobilization support, and fall prevention.
Conclusion: The problems of chronic complications, urinary retention, anxiety, and the risk of falling were resolved. Impaired physical mobility and activity intolerance is not resolved.
